Fudgey Collagen Brownies
Indulge in decadent and drool-worthy fudgy Collagen Brownies. This must-have recipe, infused with skin-loving Miracle Collagen, belongs in your cookbook.
Brownie ingredients:
1 cup tahini
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/4 cup maple
1 tsp vanilla
2 eggs
1/3 cacao powder
1/4 cup Miracle Collagen
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/3 cup choc chips
Frosting ingredients:
1/4 cup coconut oil
1/4 cup maple
2 Oz dark choc (55g)
1/4 cup cacao
Method: Brownies
1. Preheat the oven to 180oC.
2. In a large bowl, combine tahini, coconut sugar, maple syrup, vanilla and eggs and whisk until smooth.
3. Gently fold in the dry ingredients (Don’t forget Miracle Collagen) until combined.
4. Fold in the chocolate chips. Transfer to a lined brownie tin.
5. Bake in the oven for 18-20 minutes. When you poke a sharp knife in, and it comes out clean, you know it’s done. Allow cooling to room temp before adding the frosting on top.
Method: Frosting
1. In a saucepan, melt the maple, coconut oil, and dark chocolate over low heat until smooth and melted.
2. Remove from heat and stir in cacao powder and a pinch of salt. Let the frosting cool. You can place it in the fridge to speed up the process.
3. Pour over brownies and spread evenly with a spatula or the back of a spoon. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set. Top with some flakey sea salt and dried rose petals. Keep in a sealed container in or out of the refrigerator.
